You will be on a simple, but ambitious mission: "Fuel our company for sustainable growth, both on short term as on mid to long term." With that we mean we want you to be the person that is positively influencing through excellent results with the marketing team.

You are a leader. One that we can trust. A leader that has people management skills, knows his/her way around recruiting and developing skills of others. A person who motivates.

Next to that you are strategic. A person that can zoom in, zoom out, and zoom in again. A person that makes sense of data out of experience in decision making.

You are super analytical. You are able to derive actionable insights from the data and act on those. It would be great if you could tweak campaigns yourself, but we definitely need you to have technical know how. So although this is a leadership role, you still have a hands-on attitude and possess enough technical know-how about one or more of the domains you will be managing. Be it search, paid advertising, social, websites, CRO, affiliate marketing, etc. This is your second nature and you can coach and teach our talented team a thing or two.

Your Responsibility:  

  • In the first month you will learn everything about our current business, metrics and campaigns there is to know. You will also meet everyone there is to meet. You analyse what we do, what we have and where we can improve. Call it ‘the way forward’ if you want. Your vision and mission to grow further.
  • After three months you have started the implementation of ‘the way forward’ and also see the first results and significant improvements on the metrics. Furthermore, the team morale is better than ever and you have started to organize the team better, and recruit top players in the team.
  • In the first six months your team gets the right shape. Everyone knows what is expected and you act as a well-oiled machine. The rest of the company is now looking to your team as an example. This is how we roll, this is how we do things and this is how we perceive ambition, growth and Teamleader.
  • After the first year you have achieved more growth than ever before and we have your team to thank for that. Thanks to your solid strategy and execution, the B2C and B2B sales have risen significantly and sustainably. The team has been incremental to the success, because they do the work and they trust you. And with your experience and vision you were able to build a strategy that works.

Your Profile:

We feel that this is a key position for the growth of our company and therefore need you to:

  • Have +8 years of relevant experience in marketing. Ideally some time within an Ecommerce or retail environment.
  • Be an expert in data and data-driven marketing. Of course you know all tooling there is and you know which one to use for what purpose
  • Have been in a leadership position of +7 people for at least 2-3 years and bring along great people management skills
  • Be someone we call a strategist - seeing the big picture and you are able to assess risks, rewards, tactics in what we do
  • Be fluent in English and German
