As the Creative Director at Paul Valentine you develop unusual concepts and transform ideas into groundbreaking, outstanding campaigns, while leading and developing the creative inhouse team further. 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Owning the direction of branded ecommerce campaigns: website content, Video content, social media & brand marketing content
  • You are able to develop ideas from small to large-scale campaigns
  • You will be joining international campaign shootings and be responsible for the perfect implementation of concepts on set
  • You are always making sure that the art direction and brand direction are perfectly aligned à the creative concepts have to match perfectly the brand image
  • You are obsessed to find out what works on social media and how to fine-tune our social media content to reach the next level
  • Developing your team’s knowledge and skills to become the Go To Department for all creative requests
  • Always be on top of new technologies and new content marketing trends
  • Driving strong quality. The creative director will provide clear direction to our team of Art Directors and Designers. You will ensure that our creative processes are highly efficient and well balanced to reaching deadlines without missing quality requirements

Qualifications:

  • Passion and love for your job, great spirit and high motivation
  • A degree in Design, Visual Design, Communication Design or any other relevant field
  • Leadership experience within the fashion industry teamed with a minimum of 3 years work experience in a design or creative team. Prior experience in creative direction ideally within an online fashion business is essential.
  • Ability to lead and develop a team of art directors and designers
  • Consistently come up with big ideas and cultivate an environment of idea generation within the team
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams
  • Experience in creating and maintaining visual brand identity, E-commerce and editorial content within a fashion retail business and a strong understanding of the aesthetic nuances of social media, product, editorial, and commercial
  • Extensive experience with visual design, principles of layouts, graphics development, typography, color, and visual theories
  • Be able to work well under pressure and manage several projects concurrently; excellent time management and organisational skills and results oriented
  • Have excellent communications and networking skills
  • A solid leader who is not afraid to make brave decisions
